Ten minutes away by car you have Altea with its picturesque old town and church on the hillside, while twenty minutes awayby car you will find the thriving, vibrant city of Benidorm which you can almost see from Calpe owing to its tall buildings.

Famous for its nightlife and sometimes outrageous entertainment you can also have a more classy evening out and enjoy a sit down dinner with a show at Benidorm Palace, or take your family for a day out at one of Benidorm's theme parks. Aqualandia with its rides and flumes, Mundomar next door with dolphin seal and parrot shows, or take a trip to the ancient world at Terra Mitica riding its roller coasters, swings and rides as well as live entertainment, or take a day out at Terra Natura with its four themed areas, admiring the animals in their natural habitats and enjoy the live entertainment there.
