Kieran missing his flight from Beijing? Not a problem. Near death fire inside the campervan from a melting thermos? It's all good. Parking amongst gypsies that wanted to steal all of our worldly possessions? Easy. My telephone getting destroyed by ending up in a lake? Whatever. That's right. Not even this series of **** ridiculous disasters has dampened my pre-world cup enthusiasm. And how could it? On arrivak in Munich, having met with Snaghingo Jr (Brett) and Her Doktor aka Snags aka Snaginho aka Das Professor (Paul), I tore open my world cup tickets which Paul had brought from Perth, kissed them, did a dance in the airport, jumped and punched the air and shouted 'living the dream'. Similar 'living the dream' air punching has reportedly been witnessed in the city of Ulm and Hagnau, a small town on the shores of Lake Konstanz. One witness reports seeing a dashingly handsome young asian man, having oticed a 30 cent price tag on a 500ml beer (which, incidentally, will be the death of us), take a lengthy run up and then undertake what is now commonly known as the 'Living the Dream Air Punch of the Devil of the Death ...
